Eight years passed, Lady Lu was 42 years old. During that time, her first son married and they had a son. Her first grandson. Her daughter was sixteen.
A day late in a fall a young girl visited Lady Lu for help. She didn’t want food nor clothing. When Lady Lu saw her face, it looks exactly like Snow Flower. She was her daughter and she was there because her mother was very sick. Snow Flower calls out Lady Lu all the time.
Which were the feelings of Lady Lu?
She was full of pain and sadness.
Lady Lu thought, she had erase Snow Flower from her memory. She thought that Snow Flower had loved her sworn sisters more than her, but all those thoughts and emotions fell away when she saw a sick and older woman in bed. Her disease had eaten the flesh around her bones and fit it to a tumor that had grown to the size of a baby inside her belly.
Lady Lu thought to get another doctor, she should eat and they needed a diviner. She wanted Snow Flower fight for her life. She had two weeks of agony where Lily care of her all the time, day and night.
What happened at night when people slept in Snow Flower’s house?
Lady Lu got into her bed, hugging her trying to alleviate her torment.
Sworn sisters always were close to Snow Flower. They watch over her for many years, so Lady Lu began to understand the consequences of her pride.

At the end of the charter, she wrote the last words on the fan. Saying that Snow Flower was flying over the clouds and she hope to be together someday.
